Rocky Mountain Bicycles Recalled by Procycle Due to Fall Injury Hazard

Procycle Group, Inc. is recalling about 325 Rocky Mountain Bicycles because the front fork steering tube can break, posing a fall injury hazard.

The firm has received four reports of injuries, including three reports of cuts and scrapes and one report of a broken wrist. these products are sold at Bicycle stores and other specialty stores nationwide and on the Web at www.backcountry.com from June 2007 through November 2010 for between $1,300 and $1,700. Consumers should stop using the bicycles immediately and contact Procycle with your serial number to determine if it is included in the recall and to arrange for a free replacement of the fork.
